Reese's Peanut Butter Cookies

I made these cookies a year ago and don't ask me how I've managed to not make them a million times since then. They are INCREDIBLE! I made them last night for a holiday party I hosted and they were a huge hit. I may or may not have sneaked 2 aside to ensure I could eat a couple later! ;) I wish I could take full credit for this recipe, but I cannot. The original recipe can be found here. I promise you won't regret making these. In fact, your friends and family will thank you forever and ever.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cookies
Yields 12-18 cookies

3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups milk choc. chips
Approx. 30 mini Reese's peanut butter cups, cut into 4 pieces

1. Mix together butter, both sugars, peanut butter, eggs and vanilla. Add baking soda, salt and flour.
2. Fold in chocolate chips
3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
4. Using an ice cream scooper, scoop dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. These are large cookies, so about 6 scoops per cookie sheet should fit well. Slightly flatten each scoop of dough
5. Cook for 10-12 min.
6. Remove cookies from oven and lightly press 5-8 cut up pieces of Reese's peanut butter cups over the top of each cookies
7. Return to oven and cook for 2 additional minutes
