My Pregnancy: 18 weeks

How far along: 18 weeks

Total weight gain:  4.5 lbs.
Maternity clothes: Yes and No. I finally took a trip to H&M to use my birthday gift cards. Much to my dismay, the store I went to had a very small maternity section and ZERO pants in my size. I desperately wanted to get some skinny maternity jeans to wear with my boots. I did get 2 maternity tops and a couple oversized regular sweaters to last me through this pregnancy. I'm still on the hunt for maternity pants, so a trip to Motherhood Maternity is happening SOON. Until then, leggings have been my best friend. :)
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Slept pretty well this week. Still looking forward to napping more, but working on that. :)
Pregnancy symptoms: Still having headaches. And, a symptom I've had this pregnancy that I didn't have with Landon: breakouts! UGH. I typically have really clear skin, so it's been frustrating having so many unwanted 'visitors' on my face. Hoping I clear up soon.
Best moment of this week: My brother visited this week, so it was fun to spend time together as a family. I love seeing him play with Landon. LJ loves his Uncle Ryan. :)
Miss anything: Not right now!
Movement:  I didn't feel the baby move everyday this week, but when I do, it's in the evening. Classical music seems to get him/her moving, so I've been playing it close to my belly most nights. It's a good chance for me to lay down and focus on the baby moving and enjoy the quiet connection. As the baby grows I know I'll feel more and more, but I want it NOW! :) I love the reminder of my precious miracle  being safe in my womb. The movements are such an incredible thing to experience and I enjoy every moment of it.
Food cravings/aversions: I finally indulged in some chocolate this week. For the most part, I haven't craved sweets (except for the occasional chocolate donut, if I'm being honest). I normally have a pretty bad sweet tooth, so I've been surprised this pregnancy, at the fact I haven't wanted many sweets.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not at this point. Hoping that part is a thing of the past now.
Gender prediction: Back to having no clue. :)
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On
Mood: I had some ups and downs this week. Tired, emotional, happy, sad. Much of it had nothing to do with pregnancy hormones, and more to do with circumstances.
Upcoming appointments/events: The anatomy ultrasound is scheduled for Oct. 14!!! I'm so excited to see our baby moving around for this long appt. We will be having the ultrasound tech write down the baby's gender and seal it in an envelope. We have to wait until Oct. 22 to find out the exciting news! Waiting a week will nearly kill me with anticipation! However, I think it'll be more fun for us to find out with friends and family at our gender reveal party, so it'll be worth the wait.
