Baby Girl Shower: May 19, 2013

I recently returned home from CA, after throwing my sister-in-law's baby shower. She's having her first child, a GIRL! I am thrilled to be an auntie, and was excited to throw a fun baby shower to honor my niece, Haylee, arriving at the end of June. When I began planning the details of the shower, I was debating whether to have a theme or not. The options were endless, and since I'm a bit of a perfectionist, I wanted it to be 'just right'. After racking my brain and spending hours browsing the internet, the idea came to me: plan the shower around items I can put together from Etsy. I knew I couldn't go wrong with planning an entirely Etsy-inspired baby shower!

The next step was to select which shops I wanted to get items from, since there are SO many to choose from. After spending every free moment I had, leading up to my trip to CA, I chose specific shops to help me create an adorable baby girl shower that the mommy-to-be and guests would love. Thanks to the following Etsy shops, they helped me throw the perfect baby shower! I enjoyed working with each shop, and everyone was extremely helpful in this fun, but busy process!

Below you will see images from the shower, as well as links to each of the Etsy shops I worked with to decorate the space and feed our guests. :) I'm thrilled with how it turned out!

I love this crown so much! The quality is great, and when my niece is old enough to play dress up, she can actually wear her crown! Can't wait to see her in it. :)

Katrin from Say it With Heart sent us these adorable cookies for our guests. They were perfect! They tasted  great, and the decoration on each one was too cute! Since we had just enough individually wrapped cookies for our guests, I didn't want to undo any to take pictures. However, here's a picture from her Etsy shop page, so you can see just how cute they are!

These two Etsy shops came together to help us create a 'headband-making station' at the shower. Each guest was able to create a headband for the baby to wear once she enters the world. :)

Plenty of headbands to start baby Haylee off right!

Thank you to everyone who made this baby shower a success! I had a blast planning it, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. If any of you are in need of gifts for a baby shower or friend who's having a baby, I highly recommend all of the shops I worked with. They each have a variety of products to choose from, and many have custom options you can add your personal touch to. I'm amazed at the talent I found through these Etsy shops!

So excited to plan my next event, which will be a bridal shower in July! Stay tuned for fun pictures from that!
