Giving Thanks (for my son)

I'm so thankful for my son. Over the moon in love with my lil man.

On my birthday, September 8, 2012, I received the best gift in the world..... my sweet son. He is my purpose in life and what I look forward to each day. I could not have hand picked a more perfect child for me, if I could choose from any child in the entire world. He is cuddly, joyful, funny, smart and amazing in every way.

He seems to do something new each day. I can tell he's paying close attention to the world around him, and soaking up new information constantly. He's such a smart boy. I'm excited for him to be able to talk to me, and tell me everything that's going on in that sweet head of his.

He has a great sense of humor. I can't begin to explain all the silly little things he does, or the way he mimics people when he's playing around. It's amazing to see him understand playfulness and joking, and be able to join in.

I can't imagine my life without him, and I thank God every day for blessing me with such an incredible child. He fulfills my purpose in life. I always knew I was called to be a mother and I'm so thankful I'm living my dream.

I love the way he smiles at me from across the room, or squeals when I walk through the door. I treasure the moments when it's just us. We have an incredible bond. I love when he holds my hand, puts his face on mine, gives me kisses and curls up close when I hold him. I love how we have our own language and understand each other. These are the moments I hold dear and wish I could make time stand still to enjoy longer.

Landon James Lawrence, I love you more than all the words or actions in the world could possibly ever express or show you. My heart is overflowing with love and pride for you. I'm your biggest fan. ♥
