Landon's Little Man Mustache Bash - 1st Birthday Party 9/8/12

On September 8 we celebrated my son's 1st birthday (and my 27th. Yes, we share the same b-day). :) We had the party at my in-laws' home in CA. It was a huge success, and I'm so thankful we had so many friends and family there to celebrate with us and support us. We had a total of 70 guests there (including kids/babies)! I loved every minute of it.

I decided to do a mustache bash for my lil man. It didn't take me long to choose the theme of the party, especially after all the cute ideas I found on Pinterest. I'm in love with Pinterest, for those of you who didn't already know that. :) I adapted some ideas to fit into what I was going for, and it just all fell together so nicely. I made most of the party decorations before we left town, and focused on the food prep and set up when we got to CA. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law were a huge help to me the couple days leading up to the party. I never would have imagined how long it would take to set up all the little details, prepare and make the food, etc etc etc. Now I know what to prepare for in the future! But for this being my first big "shin dig" to throw, I'm pretty proud of how everything turned out.

I can hardly believe my little man is ONE! He is amazing, joyful, cuddly, funny, easy-going, smiley and all-together perfect.... well, he's perfect to me. I'm his mommy, so I can say that. :) This last year has been incredible with him. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I could be so incredibly happy. Below are shots from his 0-12 month picture banner I had hanging at his party. He changed SO much!
